I have been happily married to the greatest woman on earth since I locked her down in 2014. We have 3 wonderful children that are all under 4 years old and keep our life very busy and entertaining.
I always try my best to be an active participant in our communities, both in Lloydminster where my home is now and in Hillmond where I grew up. Every year I volunteer my time helping out where I can, whether it be at the Hillmond Arena, or otherwise. It gets me out there in the community seeing old familiar faces, or meeting new ones, and some of these faces end up being guests on the podcast.
I am a former Junior A, Division 3 hockey player who spent a short cup of coffee over in Europe graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History. In 2006 I biked across Canada in 69 days with my brother Dustin and our friend Laurie because we just liked the idea of seeing the country we call home. I learnt from that experience that you just have to get on your bike every day and go, there’s no length of time, just go until you can’t anymore and I have applied that lesson in my life.
I believe life is an adventure and everyone has a unique story to tell. Here, we will try and uncover some of those stories.
